Testonica Lab participates in the project for model based testing and validation of distributed real-time systems initiated by Competence Centre in Electronics-, Info- and Communication Technologies (ELIKO).
The project brings together several Estonian private companies (Regio AS, Elvior OÜ, Juku Lab OÜ and Testonica Lab) for the goal of creating test environment for distributed embedded software.
The planned budget of the first phase of this project (4 years) is about 1.2M €.
Within the scope of the project Testonica will solve the following tasks:
- automatic synthesis of test programs based on microprocessor (MP) descriptions;
- test data transporting to/from the microprocessor with and without debug interfaces;
- operation in potentially faulty environment (the unit under test might be faulty);
- test program loading and execution mechanisms;
- specific aspects of testing following typical board components will be also addressed (cluster logic, memories, bus interfaces, memory controllers, etc).
