Quick Instruments implement wide range of target functions. Dedicated embedded instruments are used for various test, measurement, debug and programming tasks. The instruments are specifically designed to communicate with a target device and to test/diagnose specific faults.
All our instruments are pre-developed, fetched from the off-the-shelf instrumentation library and compiled for a particular board under test using our back-end compilation servers. As a result, ready-to-use test firmware is available in just half a day!

QI FPGA Instruments
A set of instruments that run on FPGA logic
Frequency Counter
Universal non-invasive pulse/oscillator frequency counter on arbitrary FPGA inputs, including differential and reference clock pins (incl. those of MGT transceivers and RF ADC/DAC clocks).
Fast Flash IC Programmer
Fast link from JTAG to serial (SPI) Flash through the FPGA logic. The instrument receives image, programs and verifies the device.
Digital Pattern Generator
Generates arbitrary digital pattern of a given length on FPGA's any digital output pin.
Ethernet Basic Tester
Tests communication over Ethernet link performing structural tests, incl. send/receive ARP/PING packets.

PinTouch
A versatile tool to test on-board LEDs, switches, push buttons, jumpers, simple devices and pin-to-pin connections to/from FPGA.
I2C Tester
Instrument automatically scans I2C bus, enumerates all connected slave devices, sends and receives data (single/multiple bytes) to/from I2C devices
SPI Tester
Easy-to-use configurable instrument for SPI bus integrity test and communication. Writes and reads bytes via SPI protocol in different communication modes (CPOL / CPHA).
ADC Measurement (Xilinx)
Instrument fetches measurements from FPGA's built-in ADC converters allowing to measure supply voltages and values on external analog pins as well as FPGA core's temperature.
DDR4 Connectivity Tester
Test and diagnostics solution for the electrical continuity of pin interconnections between DDR4 memory and the host device (memory controller) on FPGA.

JTAG to system bus bridge IP
Bridge IP to access embedded system bus of FPGA (AXI/Avalon/PLB) from JTAG port. Provides interoperability between FPGA's functional firmware and external JTAG test controller.
